Max Lawrence was born in Washington, D.C. and raised in the nearby suburbs on Silver Spring, Maryland. After a childhood full of martial arts, sports, and music he discovered acting in high school. His immediate love of the theatre led him to student ensemble workshops in Bethesda, Maryland, a 6-week acting intensive at Carnegie-Mellon University, and eventually to the hills of Ithaca, New York where he majored in Acting at Ithaca College. After receiving his B.F.A., he moved out to Los Angeles, where he has been moving from stage to stage ever since!
